The Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation actively strives to create the leading outdoor performing arts center in the country.

Santa Barbara is home to the first ever Earth Day Festival which started after a devastating oil spill which initiated the Environmental Movement. This Free 2 day Festival continues on every year. Now in its 48th year, this year’s festival will take place April 21-22, 2018 at Alameda Park.

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival is an eleven-day film festival held in Santa Barbara, California since 1986. In 2014, the festival screened over 200 films, including feature films and short films, from different countries and regions.
