Wine is a Delicate Commodity
Wine is a perishable commodity and does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Jamie Slone Wines is very sensitive to weather conditions and the shipment of wine. Jamie Slone Wines is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser. Please Do Not have wine shipped to a residential address as it can sit for hours on a truck or at your doorstep and become damaged. Only ship to a Business address where someone 21 or older can receive the wine and take it inside. Residential deliveries almost always are after business delivers and thus wine sits all day in the delivery trucks. Almost always when we get a call about wine problems it is due to shipping to a residential address.
